Your Method
The six archetypes the best creators cluster into, and finding yours
There is no single way to be an authority. When we clustered the best creators by how they naturally show up, they fell into six recognisable methods. None of them wins more often than the others.
That last point matters. Across the corpus, the exceptional rate is roughly flat by archetype. Your method is a home, not a ranking. It tells you which moves are yours, so you stop borrowing someone else's and losing your voice in the process.

The Six Methods
The Educator teaches through structure: frameworks, steps, systems people can follow. The Analyst turns data and market shifts into clarity. The Contrarian challenges the consensus and defends the position.
The Story-Led Expert teaches through narrative, lived scenes that carry the lesson. The Community Builder builds authority by convening a room, making the comments the content. The Specialist owns one narrow problem better than anyone alive.

Read the six and one will feel like relief rather than aspiration. That is usually your method, and the assessment at the end confirms it against how you actually answer.
Why a Home Beats a Costume
Creators drift when they imitate a method that is not theirs: the Specialist trying to be Contrarian, the Story-Led Expert forcing frameworks. The signal goes muddy and the audience feels it before they can name it.
Knowing your method gives you a default set of moves: the proof you reach for, the hook you trust, the intent you lean on. Consistency of method is what the interest graph rewards and what the reader learns to expect.
